What Should I Know Before Getting Veneers?

This means that if you have any issues like gum disease or cavities, they will need to be addressed first. While we only remove a very small amount of enamel, once the enamel is removed, it cannot be undone. If you suffer from bruxism, veneers may not be a good solution. The dental cement between your veneers and teeth can come loose over time, resulting in the need for new veneers. You should also know that if you drink a significant amount of alcohol, this substance can dissolve the bonding agent, which can affect the stability of your veneers.
